About Goose Travel

Goose is a personal AI travel agent in a chat thread. You tell it where and when; it plans the trip, searches live fares, prices the door-to-door reality, and books direct with the airline on your tap. Then it keeps watching: check-in, leave-by pings, delays, and compensation claims when an airline gets it wrong.

Why "Goose"?

Goose started as a personal project. The founder built it for his own trips, got tired of doing the work a travel agent should do, and kept adding to it until friends started asking for access. It is named after Goose from Top Gun, and the name is the whole product philosophy.

Goose is the man in the back seat: the Radar Intercept Officer. The RIO does not fly the jet. The RIO runs the radar, the navigation and the radio, holds the entire picture in his head, calls the threat before it is a threat, and handles everything else so the pilot can do the one thing only the pilot can do: fly.

That is exactly the deal here. You are the pilot. Goose sits behind you with the full picture: every fare it has watched, who is in your group and who flies from where, whose passport is close to expiring, which gate just changed, when to leave for the airport, and what the airline owes you the moment it lands you late. It spots things early, fixes what it can, and briefs you on the rest. And it never touches the stick - nothing is ever booked, changed or paid for without an explicit tap from you. You fly. Goose watches your six.

How it makes money

The subscription, and nothing else. Zero commission, zero markups, zero booking fees. Your card pays the airline directly and Goose is never in the money path. If Goose ever recommends something that saves you money at no gain to Goose, that is working as intended - there is no commission to protect.

Who is behind it

Goose Travel is built in the UK by its founder, Brooks Capewell. UK company registration is in progress; until then the service is operated by the founder trading as Goose Travel. There is a real inbox behind every email: hello@goosetravel.ai reaches a person, usually the founder.

How the blog is written

The Goose Travel blog publishes daily using the same AI tooling that powers the agent, under human oversight and with hard editorial rules:

  • News posts must cite their sources with links, or they do not publish. No citation, no post.
  • Fare figures come from our own price engine, which observes real airline fares daily. We publish observed prices, not estimates or averages borrowed from elsewhere.
  • Traveller-rights guides stick to established UK261 (retained EC 261/2004) and Montreal Convention rules: the £220 to £520 compensation bands, the 3-hour delay threshold, and the deadlines that actually apply. They are guidance, not legal advice.
  • Corrections: if we got something wrong, email hello@goosetravel.ai and we will fix it and say so.

The one-line promise

The travel agent that never stops working.

100 spots. Then the door shuts.

Type where and when. I'll do the rest.

Goose Travel is an agent, not an airline. Flights are booked with the carrier and your card pays them directly. Goose Travel is not an ATOL holder and does not sell packages.
